All dahlia stock represented on the website at time of sale are based upon visible and realistically viable tubers at the time. I am very cautious in terms of ensuring that the tubers I stock at time of sale are healthy and viable. However, in the event that a tuber is non-saleable prior to shipping, I will reach out to the customer in advance with a note and refund.  Dahlia tubers can be finicky; I appreciate your understanding.

 

When will tubers be shipped?

Dahlia tubers will be carefully shipped from BC in mid-to-late April 2026, once the weather is just right for safe travel to their destination. If you’re local to the Greater Vancouver area, you’ll also have the option to pick them up in Cloverdale in April — exact date to be announced.

All tubers will be carefully inspected and shipped with a visible eye. I will not ship blind tubers.

 

When will seeds be shipped?

All seeds will be shipped with 3 days of purchase. If your order includes both seeds and tubers, your seeds will be shipped in advance and tubers will be sent in April (see note above).

 

Will you have more stock available this spring? 

Potentially, yes.  As a very small grower, I have very limited quantities of most plants. Initial stock quantities represent viable tubers that I can confidently confirm.  Should more eyes appear as the tubers wake up, the website will be updated with new stock.

 

Are plants from the breeding patch available for purchase?

No, breeding patch seedlings are not yet available for purchase. Seedlings can be unstable and it takes at least 3 seasons to assess if the form is stable, to ensure they overwinter properly. During this time the plant is monitored for overall habit and growth, appropriate facing blooms, resistance to pests, and other quality factors.
